Education as a Vaccine (EVA) and Abiodun Essiet Initiative for Girls partnered to carried out a two-day training for female students and Gender Heads from five universities (FCT, Nasarawa, Kogi, Plateau and Benue States) to strengthen their roles/capacities on sexual and gender-based violence, advocacy, social accountability, leadership, organizing and mobilization.

OBJECTIVES 

To strengthen the roles/capacities of female student leaders from five universities (FCT, Nasarawa, Kogi, Plateau, and Benue state) on sexual and gender-based violence. 

Support female students in reviewing existing structures and policies that promote the safety and protection of female students in their institutions

To strengthen linkages to the heads of gender centers to serve as champions and mentors for female students.
