The Executive Director, Abiodun Essiet Initiative for Girls: Abiodun Essiet, being presented the implementation report on VAPP ACT 2021 by the National coordinator of VAPP Act , NAPTIP.
This was during the Town Hall Meeting on: "Utilizing the VAPP law for protection against Gender Based Violence: Issues & Challenges”, organized by Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), in partnership with Youth Alive Foundation (YAF) and Legislative Advocacy (LACVAW).
The meeting which aims at sensitizing community members on VAPP law and practical way in which the community can engage the law for protection from abuse and violence and breaking the culture of silence, had major stakeholders in attendance.
